We are thrilled to announce the first ever Seldex Scavenger Hunt to be run at this years Baby Summit in Tweed Heads, Queensland.  Over $15,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs, donated by 15 awesome companies.  It’s going to be amazing!

HOW DOES THE SCAVENGER HUNT WORK?

The Seldex Scavenger Hunt will be made up of teams of 4 photographers.   If you have friends going then sorting out a team is easy!  If you don’t have friends going or need to find team members you can chat with others on our Seldex Facebook Baby Summit Scavenger Hunt events page, The Baby Summit 2016 Attendees facebook page or The Baby Summit Singles facebook page.  You’ll be hooked up in no time!

The Scavenger Hunt will run over the 3 days of The Baby Summit.  You’ll be given clues and will need to either photograph or video your results.  In total 12 clues will be revealed via text message to the registered teams and the clues will be updated daily on the Seldex Facebook Baby Scavenger Hunt events page.   For example – the clue may be something like this:

CLUE #3 –  “What happen’s at The Baby Summit, stays at The Baby Summit” – include all team members.

For this clue you can pretty much get up to anything you want but it has to include all the team members.   Remember, the more fun and creative you are the better chance you have of winning!

Each team needs to solve the clues and create a final video or slideshow showing your 12 answers.  The very last thing on the video has to show the sponsors names and/or logos.   You can download the sponsor logos here!  Teams will then have until Sunday, 14th August to submit.

The videos will be judged by the 15 sponsoring companies and the winners will be the team to submit the most fun, creative, energetic and awesome video/slideshow.  Get wacky and fun people – lets tickle some funny bones!

HOW TO REGISTER

Registering is EASY!  Fill in the form on this page.  We will need your team name and the name, email address and phone number for each team member.   We strongly encourage everyone to register before the start of the Baby Summit as the clues are released daily and you don’t want to miss any!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

A camera – doesn’t have to be a super, duper fancy one!  Perferably one that takes video as well:-)   One of the clues will involve you taking a photo, this photo will then be printed at the trade show, framed and it will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Miracle Babies Foundation.  Iphones are great but we’re professionals after all so we want the photo to print nice and sharp.

Make sure to use the hashtag #seldexbshunt when sharing your photos!

SCAVENGER HUNT RULES AND REGS – the nitty, gritty stuff!

1/.  Teams must submit their final video/slideshow by Sunday, 14th August.  Send to nicole@seldex.com.au via Dropbox, Hightail etc

2/.  The winning teams will be notified by Wednesday, 17th August.  Teams will be provided with a list of sponsor email contacts and it is up to them to contact the sponsor to claim the prize.  Prizes will be listed and are not changeable or transferable and must be claimed by 30th November, 2016.

3/.  All team details including names and email addresses will be shared with the sponsoring companies.

4/.  All video/slideshow submissions will be shared with the sponsoring companies for use on their websites and/or social media.

5/.  All entrants enter at their own risk and no sponsoring companies or The Baby Summit will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury resulting from the Scavenger Hunt!
