We’d like to take this opportunity to inform you that Robert and I will be retiring soon and Seldex Artistic Albums has been sold.  After 45 years at the helm we both feel it is the right time to move onto the next phase of our lives, whilst we watch Seldex continue to thrive under new management with fresh ideas and new inspirations.

The value in the business is created through the support of customers like yourselves, and so we have worked hard to ensure that the on-going business recognises that customer support and processes are of the utmost importance.

The new owner, Kevin Spiteri, recognises that the price he is paying includes a premium for the goodwill that has been created through our good relationships with our existing customers, and so is keen to ensure that he protects that value by working hard to keep existing customers happy.  You’ll be pleased to know it will be business as usual with the majority of the staff staying onboard including Nicole, our Sales and Marketing Manager together with our sales team Adam and Ellen.  The employees of Seldex support the sale and are positive about the future under new management.

Some of you may remember Kevin as he was the original owner of Artistic Bookbinders who we purchased in 2000, therefore Kevin has many years experience in the industry and is familiar with photographers needs.  Kevin appreciates the business, understands how to operate it properly, and is keen and capable of developing its future potential.

We will be staying on through a transition arrangement to ensure a smooth handover of the business.  No major changes are planned for the business in the short term, Kevin and Nicole, however, will be seeking customer feedback to identify how additional customer value can be created.

We are proud that our family owned business, started over 65 years ago, continues to supply professional photographers with quality products handmade right here in Australia.  Personally we would like to thank you all for the support and custom you have given Seldex over the years and wish you continued success in your own business.
