Show what you want to sell!

One of our top sales tips is to show what you want to sell.   It really helps to let clients touch and feel an album, especially so they can see they are not getting a cheap prepress book that they know they can get from Kmart or Snapfish for $100!  Let them see the high end printing on beautiful matte and lustre papers and the craftsmanship that goes into each and every album to truly appreciate their value.  Be passionate about your albums and explain to your clients how important printed images are for future generations.   This will make a difference!  For weddings its important to have sample albums that show an entire wedding in one album so you client can see the quality of your work throughout a full wedding day – not just the highlight or wow shots.

A lot of studios include an album with their wedding packages and most times these albums will only include the first 5 or 10 spreads.  Make sure to have a lot of spreads in your sample albums so clients are encouraged to add spreads to the album packages (even prior to the wedding).  Let them know prior to the wedding that most couples choose to add extra spreads to their albums after the wedding and offer them the chance to pre-purchase some extra spreads at a discounted price before the wedding.
